The prepaid cell phone is a phone plan that came out just a few years ago.  In the US, Virgin Mobile was the one to first bring true prepaid service to the states.  This UK empire cell phone company is full of wonderful plans, but they have been successful in starting a wealth of prepaid cell phone options here in the US as of today. 

The fact is that Virgin Mobile did so well with their advertising and marketing that today more and more people are considering the prepaid cell phone.  And, why shouldn’t they?

The prepaid cell phone is an ideal choice.  You purchase the prepaid cell phone handset and then purchase the minutes or airtime that you can afford, want to have or find useful.  The minutes are applied to your account, which in some cases does not even need a credit card to fund or secure, and you are talking within a matter of minutes. 

Really, it is that simple.  When the minutes are used up, you have to add more minutes to it or your phone does not work.  This keeps you in budget, keeps you in control and allows for so many other benefits as well.
